I've had my pro for about a month and has worked flawlessly. Lately, in Procreate, I noticed the pencil hasn't been working really well. It seems like it connects/disconnects. I tried recharging, hard reset, re-pairing, etc.

It worked well for a while today, then again, stopped working well. I'm not sure why.

The only difference in the last few days is that I paired my Bose Bluetooth headset. I think it's the Bluetooth, not the pencil, because when I was drawing and listening to the headset, I could hear my music going in and out also.

Any suggestions? I was thinking of maybe unpairing the Bose headphones and re-pairing. If none of that works, maybe back up to iCloud and restore?

Any ideas?

Thanks!

Haven't seen that... but I haven't paired a BT headset to my iPP yet either. My Pencil definitely hasn't lost connection yet (and I use it for 1.5 hours straight when I'm taking notes in class).

So weird. Not sure what to do.

Try resetting all settings and testing. If it's the same do a full backup then try a restore, setup as new and test it.

Test with just procreate and the pencil then test whilst also using the headphones.
If it works fine try restoring your backup and see if the issue returns.

If it persists during all tests contact Apple.

So after trying literally everything from hard resets to restore, I exchanged my iPad. Still had the same issue. Looks like the issue is actually the tip of the pencil. I unscrewed the tip that was on there and replaced it with the extra that came in the pack. Looks like everything is working perfect. I guess the headphones issue was an anomaly.

I ordered another pencil and will return this one since I can't believe I have to replace the tip already after only 6 weeks. Just something to look out for in case anyone has a similar issue.
