I love reading in the Apple Books app! Reading history books through the app is my primary hobby, but iOS 15 has made it almost impossible! It's extremely slow to open the book I've been reading and it freezes 80% of the time (I can't change pages, highlight, or change text size). I have to completely quit out of the app and hope it doesn't freeze again upon reopening. I've a few hundred books on the app and it's never been this bad.

Is anyone else experiencing similar issues? If so, did the freezing eventually resolve itself?

EDIT: I'm on a 2020 11" iPad Pro.

I'm glad to hear that it's just me. I'm going to do another hard reset and see if that fixes it. Thanks for responding! :)

I have the exact same issue. Very frustrating as I wish I had not upgraded. I was using iBooks for study purposes and a lot of highlighter usage. Suddenly after the upgrade it became frustratingly slow to turn pages (especially if wanting to refer back to a page quickly)
Did you ever manage to sort out your problem?
