Is Apple charging me twice for the Apple Care?

I ordered the M4 Pro mini (14 cores, 64 GB of unified memory and 2 TB of storage) + Apple Care. The computer is 3309 euros and the Apple Care is 119 euros. The total is 3428 euros but on my card I see two pending charges from the Apple Store, one for 3428 and the other for 119.

Should I wait and see if they rectify or should I contact them?

Wait & see what the final charges are. Right now it’s just a pre-authorization.

I had the same issue but when I checked this morning it seems that I have only been charged for the larger amount.

Funny thing, both pending charges have now disappeared. Would be awesome if they forget to charge for an early Xmas present 😀

It'll likely sort itself out in due course.

It wouldn't be the first double-charge in Apple's history (I was once charged around $1600 on a $750 purchase, and ended up getting both a refund and a gift card out of it) but I suspect it'll all be correct once the "real" charges come through.
