    You can't go up forever... things do eventually have to slow down. Not surprised in the slightest.

    As long as they keep allowing me to 'do things' rather than just operate a computer then I'm sure it'll still be a good tool.

    I used to buy Macs when they were beige and in many cases deeply flawed.

    It may be just that they lost their shine anyway because that's the nature of the I'm more shiny than you game - and this may have happened anyway and even may have been because of - we don't know - we seem to be convinced that the showbiz speculation circus has much to do with reasoned understanding and choice making as a consumer...

    Lets try measuring a Mac by what we can achieve in a day - even if this is just compared to previous Macs.

    I try to remember that adage about never trusting a computer that you can't pick up - since everything is mobile - perhaps we have to calibrate that for trust worthiness over shine.
