That's what happens everyday in the Android ecosystem. Phones being changed for such minor adjustments every month.

The igzo screen will likely see use in the rumored iPad mini, and the research findings will probably be used to fine tune the next iPad refresh. This will also let apple build up volume, and as the screen becomes cheaper to import, we will hopefully see them rolled out on the other computer line.

At least, that's what I see their plan next year as.
