Is Apple replacing rMBP with dead pixles?

Just noticed one today on my rMBP. I have applecare, just wondering if they would replace for a dead pixel if it is noticeable, or if I would be wasting my time trying?

Call and ask your local apple store. If they say yes then make an appointment.

I recall reading in macrumors somewhere that it usually takes 3 or 4 pixels before they replace. I don't know if that holds true for the retina but then again you can argue that its pixel double. Best bet is to make an appointment and see what the Genius say.

A friend replaced his rMBP after 2 months because of a single dead pixel. He called the AppleCare and told them there were 7 dead pixels right in the middle of the screen.

They replaced it just fine.

He called and shipped it to them? Or took it to a store? Mine was BTO.

He called and shipped it to them. It took 15 days to receive the new one because of the 16gb ram upgrade.
