Is Apple second Nokia?

SIP is the culprit here, methinks. It stifles the mod scene so that one has to rely on Apple for customisation (which is a joke). Obviously, you can turn it off, - but many folks won't, so the developers aren't motivated enough.

Our lives shouldn't be revolving around gizmos. They weren't some 20 years ago, which is why things like SIP weren't needed in the first place.

What has me stuck with Apple is the continuity features. Copy on iPhone, paste on MacBook. Take a phone call from the iPad while laying in bed. Control your iPhone from your Mac. Move your mouse from your Mac screen onto your iPad. Use your iPad as a second monitor. Mount your iPhone to your monitor as a 4K webcam. Instantly connect your AirPods to your Apple TV with no pairing needed. Use two home pods as stereo speakers for the TV. The list goes on and on and on. Android and Windows are garbage together and the Windows Phone app is NOT the solution. It’s an awful experience in comparison. For many people, it doesn’t matter. But for me, the continuity significantly improves my productivity and I refuse to live without it.

So until Android and Windows can get their crap together, I’m not going back

Continuity stuff doesn't even work for me for the most part.
What keeps me away from switching is photo management, there is no good alternative for Apple Photos.
