"The only 2 things that the Ipad has over Android tablets is the very big range of apps and the quality of the apps in the App store"

Isn't that a big deal for tablets? I think they're serious if they invest in the best quality tablet apps right? It's why the iPad is still the best selling tablet in the world.

Guess if u want more productivity get a MacBook Air?

When it comes to apple smartphones/tablets I don't think you need to bother about the specs, I have an iPad Mini Retina and it works perfect for all I need. Spec sheets are just decorated so people like you who thinks that the specs is everything would be lured.

The Ipad Air and Mini retina specs are no where as good compared to high end tablets like the Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro line up, (rumoured) Nexus 8.

Sure, that's true... but you probably shouldn't compare iOS specs to Android specs. I learned that a few years ago when I got the 1st gen Nexus 7. The Nexus 7 specs were pretty good, but the tablet was much slower than the 1st gen iPad mini which had terrible specs. Specs aren't everything. The user experience matters more than what's written on paper.

I owned all the tablets, IOS, Android and have a Asus T100 Win 8, IOS is still my favorite, it has the best overall user experience, stability and App support of all the platforms. I Like Android and windows 8, but I've had much more stability issues with them then IOS.

They cant be serious with those big bezels on Air and Mini. The older iPad versions I wont even comment on.

Firstly, yes, Apple do take the iPad very seriously as one of their flagship and best selling products. Secondly, I have not experienced any of the issues you are describing with the iPad Air.

Also, other companies such as Samsung and others you have described tend to fill devices with unnecessary technology and power which the tablet and its user could never make use of. The way I see it, Apple are very careful in the specifications of the iPad in ensuring they have the amount of power necessary without including pointlessly high specs. Besides, the iPhone and iPad were the first phone and tablet to include a 64bit processor.

In short, Apple do care a great deal about the iPad and take it very seriously indeed. What they don't do is fill devices with unnecessary power in order to brain wash apparently passive consumers into buying devices because they think, "moar powerz iz so much better diss meanz samzung is betta appel sux."

Ps. Consumers are becoming less and less passive meaning they know exactly what they're buying before they hand the money over and will not be brain washed by simple marketing techniques used by companies such as Samsung (in which impressive looking specifications and jargon is used to make a device appear better than it is in print).

You can own a mac and an android device ..... #mindblown

There are people on the internet who do like to discuss technology on multiple platforms and/or who own devices running on different platforms.

It truly was tongue-in-cheek. I have both android and iOS devices have used android forums to gain information. I enjoy using ios much more than fiddling with android settings, but then again I have enjoyed android devices too.
