Is Apple Watch 6 any louder than the 4?

Each year Apple claims the new version's speaker is X% louder than the previous year's model. I've hardly noticed much of a difference if any from 2-3 then 3-4, just wondering if anyone can tell a difference between 4-6.

I gotta admit when I first read the thread title I thought “the Apple Watch doesn’t have a fan.” I’ve been thinking about the new Macs too much. 🤣

According to Apple’s website, the 4, SE, 5, and 6 are all 50% louder than the Series 3, but it doesn’t say that there’s any difference between those models themselves.

Thirsty Thursday start early for somebody? Just kidding Awesome, yeah I know what they claim, but honestly, going 3-4 I hardly could tell any difference. Just wondering if anyone went 4-6 and saw any real perceivable difference in the volume.

To be honest, I still have a Series 0 and I think it’s loud enough in most cases (when I actually have the ringer on, that is), so I’ll really be blown away when I finally upgrade my Watch.

I don’t have any experience going from the 4-6 myself, so I’m afraid I can’t give you a firsthand account.

I've had a 4, 5, 6. I honestly can't remember which one had the big speaker improvement. I do use my 6 for audio calls all the time and have been really impressed with the audio volume.

You know what is, my old ears aren't as good as they once were. I like the clarity of my 4, just wish it was a tad bit louder, which given the size constraints they have to work with, may not be an easy thing to do.
