Apple computers in recent years have basically become unserviceable with little parts availability to end users. Heck, even Apple stores, I understand, do limited repairs in-house. As I understand it, for example, if a glued-battery computer needs a battery replacement, the fix is to swap the entire top case and then return the old to Apple.

As Right to Repair becomes a bigger issue-despite Tesla's fighting tooth-and-nail to find loopholes and otherwise get around it-a car would run counter to Apple's current business model.
