Is AppleCare transferable?

Yes. You have to contact applecare and give them the info of the new user. I think you may even have to do it in writting.
 
I was considering buying a new PB and selling my iBook on eBay.

Is there anyway for the Applecare to transfer from my iBook to my new PB?

I dont think there is but I just wanted to be sure.
