Hi,

A friend is asking whether i want him to buy an IPad or IPhone for me. I'm wondering if he brings it back and then we discover it's defective, will we be able to return it in the 14 day period to an Apple store in my country? What if we purchased a warranty for it?

Cheers,

If it's defective then you can exchange it anywhere. The warranty is universal. As for refunds - not a clue.

The warranty is not universal. iPhone and iPad warranties are, according to the Applecare Terms of Service, limited to the country of purchase.
