iPad mini is Black & Slate iPad Mini case made like iPhone 5 ? scuffing ?

Hi

after touching the Mini, i felt like it's a bit different from the iPhone 5 despite having the same color

but i was wondering if the case will scratch the same ?

any scuffing issue on the black and slate version ?

is it also safer to go for the white one like with the iPhone 5 ?

I've only seen those manufacturing errors online, but never at an Apple store or in person.

I know that ifixit to a key to the iphone 5 black and only the edges flecked off black paint. the back scratches rubbed right off

Mine hasn't been too bad for scratches so far, touch wood!
