Is charging overnight bad?

An issue often debated about the iPhone, I apologize if this has been discussed before, but I'm wondering if it's bad to charge the watch overnight since it takes little time to charge. Mine probably stays charging 5-6 hours after it's reached 100%. Anyone think this will cause problems down the road

Nope. Modern devices stop drawing power once they reach full charge.

Aplle would not give us devices that harmed themselves by leaving them on the charge overnight. Apple has put a good bit of technology into your device, just relax and use it.

I've been charging overnight since I got my first iPhone 5 years ago, have never encountered any issue. Doing it with the watch now.
