Because going green is the new black, and us Mac users tend to be more green than our PC using counterparts (not to mention that we all drive station wagons, buy lots of shoes, and we are snobbish), I recently signed up with a company that a friend made me aware of. It's a company that hopes to "rent" solar panels to homeowners for some length of time with only a security deposit up front - they call themselves Citizenre (http://renu.citizenre.com/)

I was wondering whether you think this is legitimate and more importantly if anyone out there has actually had their PV solar panels installed. The only communication I have received was a welcome email with a username and password.

So is this just hype? or is this the real deal? Do you think its worthwhile?

**I am NOT an Ecoprenuer and have no affiliation with Citizenre
