Is Diablo 3 Worth Getting for OS X

Hi,

I've just bought a macbook and it should have the specs to run this game. I just kind of want to to use my mac to its full capabilities. Is Diablo 3 any good on OS X or shall i wait until i buy windows 7 and run it via bootcamp?

Works fine on my 2012 13" w/16gb ram. Even in a busy multiplayer stage the fan doesn't even kick in.

You can always try it on both OS's! It's not OS specific if you buy it.

it runs fine on osx, but in terms of the game itself - if you're a fan of diablo 2, and expecting a very similar experience from 3, then you'll be greatly disappointed, as the replay value on this game isn't as good.

I would break down your question to 2 parts:

1) Is diablo 3 any good?

2) good on OSX?

Well... you don't really need an answer to the second part.
If you are coming from D2 then D3 will not do it for you.

But to be fair it is a good game for a week or two and then it gets boring.
And it runs fine on OSX.

Get D3 for OS X and get the Simcity 2013 game for OS X once they release it for Mac ; )

Works well enough on OS X for me, I don't have Windows installed at home other than in VMware any more.
