Hi I was wondering if DivX 6 is Universal Binary. I could try, but I don't wanna mess up system. If anyone can help, that would be cool.
 
Well I dont know if it is, but I see no problem in installing it. If its not, then it will simply run in rosseta.
 
exactly... sogo is right... the whole universal binary thing is getting a bit fanatical now... 99% of the apps aren't... so that's why there's rosetta... just install any software likey you normally would and don't worry... in a year then you can judge apps by UB vs PPC-only.
 
Maybe I did something wrong. But DivX 6 for Mac just doesn't work with QuickTime 7.0.4 (Universal). My VLC can still play the DivX & XivD tho.
