This might not be right for this forum but i've been really wanting to give ecommerce a go and look into high ticket products and I was wondering if anyone here had any experience with ecommerce sales and what there experience was.

Our e-commerce department at work makes less and less each year. Yet our Amazon sales grow. I think it takes an awful lot of money to promote a website enough to make good money. Plus high ticket items tend to come with smaller margins.
