Is EXTENDED warrantee INTERNATIONAL?

If I purchase a mac in Malaysia and I am from South AFrica, where do I need to purchase my extended warrantee for it to be valid for 3 years? can anybody help?

Generally it is, but sometimes local regulations come into play. Check the Applecare Terms of Service.

You can buy Apple Care anywhere. Once it's activated, your warranty applies internationally.

It may depend on your location, you can check online by choosing your country.
It did apply in Asia, where I live now.

And desktops. Not sure about displays, though. If purchased with a desktop you might run into trouble.
