iPhone 12 Pro Is Face ID with iPhone 12 (Pro) any better?

Hey,

since Max Weinbach predicted an improved Face ID experience, I want to ask you if anything has changed?
is it faster compared to the 11? Can it be flat on the table and I can still unlock it?

Nope exactly the same

The angle it works at hasn’t changed but it’s still instant when it can see you. Both the 11 Pro and 12 Pro are much better than the X but I don’t think the 12 Pro has improved more.

Face ID always seems a step backwards from the finger sensor to me.
With the finger sensor I just touch the button and away I go, but now we have to touch and swip the screen then hope it reads our face correctly after that. I find it fails to open with my face more often than it did with my finger and that’s after having to take a extra step to open it.
