i just replaced the system hard drive in my ppc G4 desktop. this drive essentially has nothing on it, yet when i go on line it crashes within seconds. Safari, Firefox, Camino... it doesn't matter. they all crash. my os is 10.4.11. my current flash version is 9,0,246,0. i believe i need version 10,1. the only problem is that i can't locate this version. just when i think i've got it, it's a dead link. i've looked all over adobe's site to no avail. i keep getting linked to their newest version, 10,3. so- is it safe to assume that flash is my problem to begin with? if so, where can i get the version i need? does anyone here think that it could be something else?

It crashes as soon as you open a browser, or once you start streaming videos?

What exactly happens when it crashes?

version 10,1,102,64 is the last for PowerPC Macs.

Go here to see, what version you allready have

If you want to download it directly from ADOBE go here:

if the link above does not work go here:

press: cmd (the apple key) + f and type Released 11/04/2010 and hit enter, it will jump to the link where you can download it.
    Flash Player and

As far as I can see, this version is newer than the one under old mac apps dot com.

you will need the dmg file in that zip

i have my homepage set to the browser crashyg before the page can even load. sometimes i'll get lucky and the page will load but will crash shortly thereafter. firefox is the worst of the 3 (camino firefox safari). i've had better luck with safari but one thing that i've noticed is that Facebook crashes all 3 browsers before the page loads. all 3 browsers DO NOT play nice w/facebook at all.
