I am looking to purchase a new iMac next week. Is the government/educational employee discount available at the local stores or only on-line?

    Thanks,

    Duffy

With proof of qualification, I've gotten the discount in the Apple store before.

Well actually I am not a student, but sit on the board of a government entity. I have business cards as well as my information is on the entities website so pretty easy to confirm at the store. I just wanted to make sure the store honors it and it is not something that can only be transacted online.

Any mail or correspondence with your name and school will work also.
Honestly they are pretty liberal with what they will accept.
