read up about Agilebits and 1Password ... it is hands down the best App I have ever bought.

There is nothing sketchy about this awesome Canadian company ... they are rock solid :apple:

But they have employees and pass employees, so who to say ex employees won't hack them?
This also goes the same for ex bank employees

Prepaid credit card for ebay and amazon. :apple:
So you don't ever pay bills on line?

If by safe you mean is the NSA splicing the unencrypted links between the private cloud data centres of American tech companies to steal your data, you can rest assured they are indeed.

I'd be more worried about the guy at the bank ... and yes, those bank thieves always get caught.

1Password is perfectly safe to use :apple:

Eventually they do and not all, and yet you and everyone else uses a bank. I personally trust Apple with iCloud Keychain than some app.

I'm sure it's secure enough, and i've registered a few passwords, but I'm so used to using 1Password my default is to generate a password using that and add it to the 500+ passwords I now have stored

I'm assuming there is a way to view all saved password in Keychain, although I can't imagine it's as slick as 1Password, and moving everything just seems like hard work.

Don't knock 1PW until you have tried it ... like I said ... best App I have ever installed :apple:

I'm not knocking it, I just rather used the iCloud Keychain. I just find it funny how some people will knock the security of iCloud Keychain, but no problem using a 3rd party app.

I agree with this ^^^ ... I would be fine using Keychain.

It is just that 1PW is awesome and easy to keep everything organized :apple:

I've been using LastPass for a couple of years. I trust the app, it works incredibly well, is cross platform, and has excellent security, as best I can tell.

I'm not knocking Keychain, I don't know enough about it...but I have it turned off so as not to interfere with LastPass.

Considering that 10.9 is still a bit quirky, I'm not yet ready to trust Keychain yet.

I use iCloud Keychain judicously. Is there an easy way to disable it, say if you wanted to loan your device to a friend who might just navigate to a key-chained website and it auto-pops your information? Isn't this a good reason for Apple to grant us the ability/functionality to temporarily switch over to a guest account from like the control center then switch back to the main account once they're done and being prompted for your pw?

Ah, maybe iPads and iPhones are considered and designed as merely personal devices, which are what mine are.

I've been using 1password but have converted to Keychain. For me I just like the way it works better. Considering what I've invested in it that says something. It's nice to have options. Use what you prefer.

Don't stress over your credit cards. Assuming you have a decent company you won't be held liable over fraudulent use, to me that's the best thing about using a credit card.

For those of you wearing tin foil hats....it's only going to improve the reception of NSA/hacker/alien signals. Think about it.

Was using 1password but have now gone over to keychains, 1password is next to useless on ios devices, until the manage to integrate it with ios safari.

So ensconced with 1Password app, I have not gone the iCloud keychain route.

Yeah--one iCloud/Dropbox version of my passwords is enough for me. I feel pretty confident about the security of data provided by 1Password so I'll stick with it.

I had 1Password before iCloud keychain was available, and have way too many logins/passwords to bother to transitition to iCloud. I also have secure notes that I have no idea how to move to iCloud. Still, 1Password works and the database gets shared between osx and ios.

Yeah, on IOS it's more difficult due to the sandboxing. I might consider moving some passwords to keychain.
