I have iPhone X and don’t see any live text option on the bottom right when i have my camera lens focused on any text

Yes. You need XS or above to use any of the following:
- Spatial audio and portrait mode in FaceTime
- New 3D and AR navigation in Maps
- New animated backgrounds in weather app
- Live text (such as copying from a photo)
- Visual lookup in Photos
- Home keys in wallet
XS requires home keys, the other things you mentioned the XR is also compatible with as well
Though I’m curious if the SE 2020 gets home keys despite it having a gig less Ram than the XS. I don’t even know why it’s for the XS and not the XR
Do home keys not work on the XR? The XS was released before the XR by several weeks so that's a bit confusing since it says XS and later.

I do not know as I do not have a XR/the beta nor have I found any information on the web that the XR is compatible with it. Yeah I’m also confused by the messaging as well

Because if you looked at past OS’s in which for features in which A12 is required because it has a much better ANE you’d eventually realize that Apple likes to pretend that A11’s ANE doesn’t exist which is why they push for A12 to be requiredWell I figure that much. It is not even funny how my USD 250 Android device from 2017 can have Google Lens ‘copy text from image’ feature but my USD 1000 (yes, in my country, even then) iPhone 8 can’t.
