iPad Is iOS 8 laggy on iPad 2?

Updated to iOS 8 on iPad 2 and now it is laggy. 8.1 is still laggy. Is it just me or is iPad 2 too old for iOS 8?

probably to old. iPad Air 2 is out now and best buy will give you 200 bucks for that thing. Do it......

Updated my laggy 8.0.1 to 8.1 and it is back to its snappy self. Very happy now!

My ipad2 was better after 8.1, but still too slow. You might try deleting everything and starting from scratch. I did that with my ipad3 when it got passed down (when the new air 2 arrived)
It was much better with a clean install.
