I know the screen will it not be OLED. But other than that would it be classed as a downgrade?

The reason I ask is its about £20 cheaper a month on iPhone upgrade program!

To me, yes. But I use my camera a ton, and the display is also important to me.

I had the Xs until Friday, and I went with the 11 Pro. I wouldn’t want to lose the screen, plus I like the flexibility of the three camera lenses (even though I still think they’re ugly).

I prefer the colors of the 11, and it’s a great phone that I’ve recommended to a lot of people, but I couldn’t go backwards.

Honestly, though, if they don’t matter to you, save your money!

Most features of the 11 are improved over the XS, but not all - most notably, the screen on the 11 is not improved. Whether it's an upgrade/downgrade probably depends on which features you value most. I went from the XS to the 11 and I view it mostly as a lateral move - I just decided I wanted to try out the slightly larger screen and getting extra battery life and some other improved specs was also nice. The OLED/LCD screen difference, while noticeable, is not such a significant difference that I now feel like I have an inferior phone.

I “downgraded’ on the IUP program from XS 256 to iPhone 11 64 and saved $21 a month. That itself is a nice feature and I’m satisfied with the iPhone 11.

I’ve used the iphone 11 for 4 days coming from an X, hopefully the below will help you

Screen quality you will not notice much if at all, especially as they arent side by side, the 11 was definitely brighter than my X too
However with that said, dark mode is a huge difference, on the X its a natural dark black, on the 11 its like a light black lit up - this was the only time I noticed any difference with screen quality
Battery and camera on the 11 is fantastic massive upgrade from the X
Sound is something else that is brilliant too

I’ve gone back to my X now however, simply due to the fact I just didn’t like the size of the 11, just too wide and tall for my personal use, 5.8 is the perfect form factor for me

Thanks for feedback guys. So is the 11 actually bigger and heavier?

is battery life quite a bit better?

I wouldn’t say it’s quiet a bit bigger and heavier just too much fit my liking

I thought the battery of the 11 was better but I’ve just watched a video and the 11 Pro was better than the 11
