iPhone 14/Plus Is iPhone 14 worth of purchasing in 2024?

Hi!
I'm thinking of upgrading my phone from 12mini to iPhone 14, because I need more storage and better battery life and better camera would be great too.
It'd be awesome to start a new year with a new phone. Is it still worth it though? iPhone 12 mini has the same SIM card as the iPhone 14, right?
Is the battery life of iPhone 14 good? Because now I have to charge my phone at least twice a day (battery health is 78%). I assume the battery life on iPhone 14 is a lot better, right?

I have the 14 plus and love it. Best iPhone I have ever bought. I am not into AI since it is too new and does nothing for me. I am 83 but tech savvy somewhat. This phone has the best battery I have experienced to date. Does everything I require. Will not upgrade until apple has an exciting freshness. Best of luck

AI isn't available in the EU (yet), so it won't bother me. I almost went for the Pixel, because of the AI + promised support for 7 years, but I mean I already am in the Apple ecosystem.

I agree. I've spent a day with it and I'm really happy. The battery is at 35% and I last charged it at night at 12am and I'v'e been using it freely. Instagram still takes the most battery though, but with my iPhone 12 mini I couldn't be without a charger for that long, even when it was new.
So far I am happy with my purchase. I havent tested out the camera yet, but I'm sure if I liked the 12 mini camera then the iPhone 14's camera will be fine too. I'm happy with my purchase. Hopefully it'll last me for a long time and hopefully it'll receive at least iOS 20, but I think Apple will drop iPhone XR years before.

Four major changes stand out—one aesthetic and the rest functional:

1. Dynamic Island
2. Better Chipset (faster and less heating issues)
3. Enhanced Battery Backup
4. Upgraded Cameras

Not including AI inclusions as they are a hit-or-miss kind of a thing.
