Yeah mine doesn't look like that at all.

Same here, mine isnt glittery at all. By the way, Ive had two, one I got from Best Buy on 6/30, I had preordered it. I got that one replaced a couple days ago with another phone, week 31, and neither one is glittery. What could that be about?

By the way, the reason I got mine replaced was that even though I had it in a Griffin Wallet Case since day one, the camera lens managed to get all scratched up. Be careful, it scratches really easily, alot more easily than the glass surrounding it.

Also, Im excited that it seems like the batteries are easily replaceable with Iphone 4. After a year if I dont upgrade by then Ill probably get a new battery online and replace it myself

That said, I absolutely don't believe Apple is doing this. Why? Because they would have LOVED to have been able to say this at their press confrence. It would have looked really good to point out a physical change like this to the press. But they didn't say it. It's not gonna happen.

Um. Completely wrong.

Can you imagine the carnage? Hey all you millions of people that camped out, iPhones manufactured from now on will contain a hardware fix!

Steve Jobs would have been physically beaten to death by existing users.

It would also be akin to signalling a mass recall as every single one of those users would return it to get the new "fixed" version.

If apple has any sense (which lets be fair, they do) they'll be applying coating or whatever minor hardware tweak that helps and be telling NO-ONE about it.

Yes yes, the iPhones are all the same.....what, there's fewer problems with people that bought iPhones a few months later? Well that's weird......

No hardware fix.
No coating.
No problems with mine or the 20 or so people I know that have one.

I don't think Apple would have loved to admit a mistake, they usually ignore speaking about issues so they're not overblown to the public.
