I ordered my iPhone 6 plus before on Tmoble.com
But I got one yesterday at an Apple Store.
Thinking of reselling it on eBay. But I am not sure if it is locked to T-Mobile.

    Thanks!

If you bought it from a carrier (i.e. not from Apple Store) it will be locked to that carrier.

If the phone was purchased at full retail pricing you can call T-Mobile and ask them to unlock it. If it was bought via EIP, I believe there is a 30 day period before they have to unlock it.

Call T-Mobile when you get the phone. They should immediately unlock it. You can also restore the phone via iTunes without the T-Mobile Sim card and see if it is unlocked.

if you got it from T-Mobile store it will be locked for 40 days, then you can ask for unlock.

Is that from a prior experience or you asked recently and that's what they said?

So an unlocked T-Mobile phone works for just AT&T and T-Mobile? What about Verizon?

This is correct. You have to keep the line active for 40 days before they will unlock.
