Read a few blogs about the benchmarks and speed tests among iPhone x iPhone xr and Samsung Note 9.
People said Even iPhone X is faster than the Galaxy Note 9?
anyone?

I don’t get into benchmarks, I’m into the real life experiences. Coming from the Note 9 to the XR, for me the Note 9 was faster and more efficient than the XR. However, I am coming from 9 years of android so maybe it’s because I was used to the OS and where to find everything. I’m still getting used to the XR and it is no slouch, but the Note 9 was a more efficient experience for me (granted the Note does have double the RAM of the XR).

Apple’s chip designs are way ahead of the competition, so can’t see the note being faster in real world use.

Love the Note 9 of my sisters. But when it comes to the Fortnite game, iPhone could have 64 fps, but 32 of note 9

Apple's Chip is the best one in mobile industry.

You can add the iPhone 8/8+ to that list too..

Note 9 has single threaded performance similar to a iPhone 7. And multi core performance similar to an iPhone 8.

OnePlus 6T has single threaded performance a bit better than iPhone 6s. And multi core performance between an iPhone 7 and iPhone 8.

‘Benchmarking and speed tests’ are not indicative for how everybody’s results in terms of how they are using their phones, it depends on tasks they are comparing to quantify the speed (I.e. Gaming, multitasking, media, ect). In another words, it’s completely variable, but the iPhone has always had a standard of being fast with their ‘A’ Series chipsets.

Sigh, but play fortnite there, no lag at all. And love the Spen

Every Samsung I had got laggy and buggy after a while. They are fast out of the box but not great over time. I switched to the Iphone Xs because of it and I had many Samsung's.

I’ve had so many Android phones, and yes the specs on them will be much better than the iPhone...But iOS is much better optimized than android is, so you don’t need the monster specs.

In raw hardware power, yes. In everyday use, the difference might not be that obvious.

If it could be possible to write a low level program on both hardwares, and then compare the performance, iPhone would probably win.

I don't agree with you. The chips of Apple is the only best one in mobile industry.

Apple is years ahead in processing power vs any Android device. The A11 and especially the new A12 is substantially more powerful than the chips offered in the Note 9 or even the soon to be released Galaxy S10.
