It's kind of a skinny version of the MacBook Pro but without the P3 screen and touch bar but nearly as expensive (£1400 compared to £1750) so in reality, a MacBook Pro is a far better investment long term.
It sits between the old Air (name, shape, price to a certain extent) MacBook (fanless - to judge by HD617 graphics!) and NTB Pro (2x TB3 ports, 13.3" retina display)
I say it's just a bigger MacBook, that's all. But they kept the Air name because that's the name that made Apple famous for a thin and light notebook computer.
