May a registered Apple developer jailbreak his own iPhone or is it against policy to do so?

I ask, as I am thinking of joining the program yet don't want to give up my jailbreak.

As long as Apple doesn't find out you are posting JB apps, they don't care what you do with your phone.

Apple does not care at all. As long as you're not trying to get your phone serviced at an Apple store with the jailbreak
