Carrier Is it allowed to swap sim cards?

I'm going to a music festival this weekend, and I'm considering leaving my 6+ in the hotel, and taking my 5S to the festival.

Can I just take the sim out of the 6+ and put it in the 5S, reboot, and be good to go? Is that against an AT&T policy? And also, will it even work? I don't know much about sim card tech.

should work, visual voicemail probably won't though unless you give them the 5s imei.

Cool. Thank you! I thought it probably would be ok. I could probably stick it in my iPad Air LTE model too and use data on there since I don't have a plan for the iPad.

I'm not worried about the voicemail. I might use 20 mins a month talking on the phone haha.
