Hopefully 2.1 should fix the shoddy performance... I may laugh uncontrollably if it doesnt.

I have been into technology for years .... worked with it all my career.... i've never been "excited" about technology releases like this .... but something about apple changes things .... it does have this reality distortion field which makes things disproportionally exciting.

I am really hoping that 2.1 makes the iphone as slick and speedy as my ipod touch 1.1.4 was ... i miss it

Me too. But it is bad... I'm so excited, because (as the poster above me) I wish to have the same performance of the iPod touch (1.1.4) on my iPhone and better 3G.

I wish I would just be excited, because of possible new features...
