A geographical oddity
I'm sitting at work, fairly bored and frustrated (the second is causing the first). Any, all I can think about is how coldit is outside. Being cold, I'm thinking how good it would be to have a nice warm caramel apple cider to sip. But, that's like $3 or so. Is it worth the money? I'm not even sure if I need to be talking into going or talked out of going.

I'm just not feeling it today. That should be a good enough reason for us to close for business.

Go for it.

Always. Without question :)

A cider like you want is always good, but every morning I must have my personal favorite, an irish cream latte.

Mmmmmmmm.

If there's nothing happening, can't you just close the office and head home early, picking one up on the way?
That would be nice, but I'm somewhere near the bottom of the bottom of the peons - my opinions would be duly noted and duly forgotten. Plus, contrary to what many would prefer, we can't have the federal government just closing shop and going home, can we? :D

I agree. I think cider sounds like a great idea. Maybe I'll go out and get one, too. :D

I'm not one to fight a mandate. I was given my mandate by the people and have complied. And it feels really, really good. Good enough that the job feels a little less tedious (still stinks, but not as much).

do it :) treat yourself.

When I'm in Manchester... just coming out of a lecture and I'm feeling tired and bored and all that. I just think about what I'll have for dinner and I'm happy inside again. never underestimate the joys of good food and drink, even if it is all psychosomatic.

$3 for a caramel apple cider? They're around $2 here...then again, perhaps you're going for a big one.

That said, go for it. Mac users were born to be impulsive; why else would there be "Ordered!" posts all ove Macrumors whenever something new comes out?

now that's $3 well spent! :)

Hot cider: simply put.

amazing.

Damnit, you got the cider on my mind now.

And I am going to have to work 8 hours in a refrigerated warehouse thinking about it.

Life sucks. :p

What I think is funny is that he consulted MR first before IMing me to ask if it was okay. Now, how's that for you when he's putting the forum before the wife??  :D

Somehow, I got the impression you two were linked. Maybe the locations gave it away?:p

Warm cider is a good thing.:)

It would be sorta funny to see these sort of threads go into the Buying Advice forum. ;)

And folks, I think he has already bought it, so stop encouraging him to go for the cider and start encouraging him to begin a bad coffee habit.

Or in my case, a bad orange spice tea habit

At least I know now where I place in the grand scheme of things. MR really is an all-life-encompassing entity, I guess.

He's lucky I like our dishes and that all the extra mugs are being used as pencil holders in the office. Maybe a paper cup will have to suffice. :p
