Is it confirmed that a PC X1900XT won't work in Mac Pro?

There was only one person posting on the apple discussion forums that his XTX worked in OSX and showed up as as XT. I never believe just one result. Is there more info out there on this card's compatibility? Most threads I have read are mostly about trying to get nVidia cards to work.

So far I think it'll work on the Windows side but not in OS X.

pc X1900XT works fine on my Mac Pro in osx and win but needs to be flashed 1st

If its flashed first it works fine.
