Situation: I keep my iPhone in a dock in my car to use as a sat nav and for music.
On the 8 Plus, as long as it's charging, and is playing music, the Music app will stay lit (albeit dimmed) to allow you to always see what is playing, and skip a track if you need to.
On the X, the screen will lock like any other app.
I assume this is to reduce burn-in. But it's so annoying. I'd rather risk burn-in then forfeit my ability to switch tracks.
Sure I could just tap the screen and then control it from the lock screen, but the touch targets are smaller and I want to keep my eyes on the road - two taps is one too many.
Is there a hidden setting that I've missed? Is this just a bug on my X?
I don't want to turn off auto-lock because it's only the Music app I want it to apply to! 🙁
