Are 2G/older gen iPods starting to just all die. Mine for instance before was working fine...and now I can't even watch a 2 minute video without it freezing on me and requiring a hard reset, and don't even get me started on those...

9/10 times I have to reset it 10 times before the Apple logo comes up....

I reckon Apple put something into the 4.0 firmwares that are slowly killing off older gen Touches so we are forced to but new ones....

RIP 2G iPod.

Take it to an Apple store and ask the genius to run couple test and see how your battery is doing and other errors it will get.
