I can't type in firefox after using it for a while on an intel mac. I have to quit firefox and open it again just to be able to type in it. Does anyone else have that problem?

Yeah. I have that problem too with my G5... It usually bugs up when I'm on gametrailers.com or some other site with crazy interfaces. Hopefully they will fix it. My trick though around it is to force quit, that way I can "restore session" when I get back onto it. Temporary fix, but worth it. 😀

Happens every now and then on my MacBook, too.

Don't really mind too much, thanks to the session restorer, just a minor annoyance...

Is it just an issue with FF 2 ?

I've not upgraded to 2 yet because i've heard of a few issues with it.

Didn't know 2.0.0.1 was out tho - so may now go for it.

Anyone else confirm that 2.0.0.1 is relatively bug free?

yep, this happens to me also..it is quite annoying, but as the others have said, session restore saves the day =)

HATE THIS ISSUE !! I had a thread on this a while back too..

my solution?

Open a new window, then close it.

Apple+N -> Apple+W

Fixed

annoying, but faster than restarting firefox, even with session restore
