Is it me or does iPad power button need to be held down longer?

Compared to my iPhone... Please tell me this is normal... I have to press and hold the Power/Sleep Button down for like a good 4 seconds before it powers on. That's 4 seconds counting like this: "One one-thousand, two one-thousand, three one-thousand" Anything less than 4 seconds and it won't.

Does this sound like a normal start-up time?

I just tried it now. I bearly finished "one, one thousand" before the apple logo appeared.
