@vegastouch which phone do you have now?

I have a SS Vibrant now. Still have my iPhone but dont use it anymore. Its outdated. The reason i went to an Android is because i have T-Mobile and im tired of being just on EDGE with a slower phone.
Since i have had this phone, i have come to really like it. Appreciate what it does and what it can do and ive been trying different ROM's based on Froyo 2.2. I couldnt do that with the iPhone. You can change a lot of things on this phone with it being rooted.
But i still like the iphone and im interested in whats coming but im never going to go to AT&T or Verizon.

The vibrant is a nice phone. It was between that, well verizons version and this and I went with this just to get it out of my system. Always wanted an iPhone.

OMG people its a PHONE! Are people seriously complaining about having a device so small it will fit into your pocket that will connect you to anywhere in the world, give you live weather, let you watch videos & live television, take pictures, create videos, send videos and pictures and letters instantly, play games, balance your finances, check game scores, and even let you talk face to face with someone on the other side of the planet and many other things????

Wow. People like this will complain no matter what they have or how good they have it.
Same people will bitch even if they were hung with a new rope.

Just amazing.........

the problem is most high end smartphones are able to do all this now so it is considered standard

have you ever complained about cleaning a toilet, you know it didn't always exist right?

People are complaining that the front facing camera is crap? Uh...all front facing cameras on all smartphones are crap. I thought this was common knowledge.

The front-facing camera is good in places with alot of light (i.e outside, vibrant party, room with bright lights) but yes, it's very grainy in low-light settings.

The front facing camera of iPhone 4 actually performs better in low light than expected.

@vegastouch, so I'm to assume that you feel the same about android phones and the commercials right. Those are for sure misleading. Great devices no doubt. I own two, but if younlook at any of the commercials they are misleading in a number of ways. In any business, you're always going to show your product in the best possible light. What would be the point of showing a grainy face time chat??? Or on the android side how clunky the os actually is.

The front facing camera is grainy? I tried getting an answer, but didn't get help elsewhere. Sooo... Is there an app or a way to enhance it? Mine looks like a 2 megapixel stretched. The back camera is fine. When I took some self portraits the white balance looks bad if I get to close. My cheek looks over exposed. Like the sun is beaming on it, depending on the angle. Any help?
In haven't found the solution yet, but I feel you can try turning off the smart HDR feature in the settings. It might help you take a much better picture. I got the same problem initially then I went to a store to compare it with the XS Max and XS and there was no difference. They all worked the same way. So try this solution. May be apple will provide a permanent fix for it with a software update.

I hope you realize the original post is from 2010
