iPhone 13 Is it normal for the magsafe connection to disconnect and reconnect sometimes?

I just got a 13, and the thing sometimes connects and disconnects fairly frequently.

I'm not sure if it's defective, or the connection just doesn't work that well, or what. I don't think I'm moving it much if at all when I'm using it, but...

Not sure if I should return the phone or what

MagSafe charging sound

So the other night around 2 am I heard my iPhone 13 pro max make the charging sound when it was on it’s charging stand. I thought maybe it does this but I was sleeping soundly I didn’t hear it. So my question is does this happen by design or did some weird thing happen? This is my first MagSafe...

Nobody seems to know on that thread either. I’m not sure whether I should be sending this thing back or if it’s just are all like this I don’t won’t get any worse.

Obviously it’s not supposed to but turning off & on won’t hurt anything. I suppose it is a malfunction and you might as well contact Apple for more info

I think this graph shows every time it disconnected. It’s been connected to power the entire time and should never have disconnected ?

Updated iOS to 15.2 and Apple Magsafe charger to version 247, still the same problem for me, but less often.

I'm on the newest iOS also, and checked that the magnetic charger was up to date, which it is :-/

I genuinely don't know if I'm supposed to send it back, if there's a problem just with MY iPhone 13. If it's with ALL of them. If it's only 13s and not 12s/earlier.
