is it normal for the screen brightness to have be this high?

I have a MacBook Pro m4 pro from 2025, I noticed that I have to have the brightness quite high so that pictures, videos etc appear bright and as they should be, a notch lower and they have a dim look to them, but I wanted to know is it normal for MacBook screens to have to be so bright? I attached a picture of what brightness setting i use, I have disabled True Tone, automatic brightness, dim screen on battery, using different hertz and displays, different battery modes

but its still the same, even at medium brightness its so dim and dull

Under typical lightning conditions and the way most people use a MacBook Pro, 20-50% is typical. Yours is closer to 85%.
