Hi, after realising I have no choice but to host Windows/Boot Camp on my main drive, can anyone tell me if it's ok for an SSD to be partitioned.

This is a SanDisk Extreme 240GB SSD. The second one I've had after SanDisk replaced my former one. I suspect my original one was failing due to my partitioning it :/

I need an answer, hopefully from someone with extensive knowledge on SSD's or who has had a Boot Camp partition on theirs for a long time?

    Thanks

Yup, no problem, it acts like just like a hard drive :)

    It is more than okay.

Here's something on that for bootcamp.

Well, it doesn't "act" like one per se because the SSD is flat.

    Windows (BootCamped) on the Mac

But, but, isn't this forum entitled "Windows, Linux & Others on the Mac"?

Yes it is. That is an odd statement to have been made, but what is done is done.

    Sometimes Windows is necessary.
