Hi guys....

I have a large personal home video library.... 2TB.... and because this is a total refresh of the software I'm a little worried to upgrade.... I have a full Time Machine backup of my 10.2.3 library.... can I downgrade if I find there are some issues after I upgrade...

Has anyone had any problems after updating their Project & Events library... or has all been a smooth transition...?

Any comments or suggestions are most welcome.

Regards,
Anthony

Cheers Pat.... but even if I back it all up... which I have on Time Machine... if something went wrong... I would just restore my Project & Events folder... would that revert things back to the way they were on 10.2.3 ?

I have a 4TB library and so far no issues. I understand, for complex projects, you may have to adjust some audio.

No problem with 10.3 here. If you keep a copy of your projects along with a copy of the FCP app (v.10.2.3), you're covered for any catastrophic events.

I have two small libraries (140 GB and 400 GB) where some proxies and optimised media went missing and I had to transcode again, which was not a problem, since those were not time sensitive projects.

Other than that, the usual bugs and I am still figuring out those new roles in the timeline.
