There is a specific place for that but you have to be a member for 6+ months and had at least 250 posts... from what I've been told anyway... Not sure because I can't access it yet either.

It's called the Marketplace - it's another part of the forum. You cannot access it if you are a new member. Sales posts are not allowed anywhere else in the forums.

But beware how often you do it, in the past the mod's have come along and deleted posts were it's obvious that the post is more about increasing counts that contributing to the community.
I see, didn’t know that either!
To be honest what difference does posting 250 replies make to the integrity of the poster before viewing the marketplace? I could pay the $25 & still rip someone off!

I spend more time reading than posting. I might find something worth buying in the marketplace, bearing in mind I stay in the UK therefore the offerings probably do not suit my location either.

It might be worth reading through the rules:

"Overposting. Making the same post many times, making multiple pointless posts in the same thread, making numerous posts with no real content, or posting for the purpose of gaining a higher post count."

Why bother reading through the rules when we have people like yourself to keep us ‘right’ 👍
As I said.......

It's also so people don't join to simply post ads...

"One word replies" are generally never allowed under the forum rules.

Rather than replying with "Thanks" use the "Like" button.

I suggest you DO read the rules because not doing so is not considered an acceptable reason for subsequently breaking them.

Ignorance of the law is no excuse!

Paying $25 for Contributor status doesn't get users into the Marketplace, the six-month and 250-post requirement also applies to Contributors. The point of posting requirements is that users have time to create a presence here and give other users a chance to get to know them before entering into a transaction that involves money. It's not a fool-proof system, but it's a balance we've struck to avoid drive-by scams.

Not sure If I am not seeing the right place to post, if any.

You need to have made - or posted - 250 posts and (the 'and' is important) been a member of the forum for six months before you have access to the Marketplace section of the forum.

So, that means two requirements have to be met: You must have been a member of the forum for a set period of time and you must have made a specific number of posts before you are eligible for access to the marketplace section of the forum.

I am rarely posting, I am starting here mostly on Mac Pro mods and discussions, without realizing I can access marketplace right now.

But since MR implements mature dark mode, I am start to comment often on news comment too, I guess that's one of factor my post increase. Talking about rules, I had breaks some in past, shortly after that an officer @Weaselboy will reprimands through PM first ;)

Shoot. I never knew this forum had a marketplace! I've been a member for a long time and have over 300 posts, so I qualify to post in there. I traded in my spec'ed out early 2020 MBA to Apple and only got $600 credit. I wonder if I would've gotten a better offer if I had posted it up for sale on here.

I'll definitely post my devices I'm getting rid of on here first in the future!

didn't know about it either, does it get alot of traffic?
It does depend on what you're selling, if it's a fairly desirable product (iPhone or common accessories for example) you'll usually find a buyer or seller fairly quick. Prices can be lower than eBay/Craigslist sometimes so might be worth a try.
