hey guys today my iphone screen cracked somehow it was left under the scorching heat and when i came back to get it after a few hours it was cracked screen and said over heat, do u think it cracked from the heat and the screen just cracked? or something else?

Very improbable for most situations, but anything is possible. Since you said it wasn't cracked before, it was obviously the heat that caused it. Essentially the screen stretches from the heat, and if it is enough, you get a crack. Just how hot was it?
It's possible. A couple of summers ago i left my iPod nano in the car and the screen cracked.

Was the heat from being inside a car?
Apple says the iPhone will be ok in temperatures up to 113° F. The inside of a hot car in the summer can get up to 200° F, so if that's what happened then yeah, I'd say it's very likely the heat is the cause.

If that's the case I'm surprised they'd replace it though. Am I missing something?
Yeah, I guess Apple forgot to put in a heat sensor to go along with the water sensors.
