I have a total of 3 apple tvs. I updated the first one to the latest firmware and it started to randomly reboot if I leave a movie paused for 5 minutes. I didn't think much of it but when I updated my second apple tv, it started to do the same thing! These are all apple tv 2 and are connected via an airport extreme to a iMac. I didn't have this problem prior to the update but I also find it hard to believe that 2 apple tvs would be showing the same problem. Does anyone have any experience with this problem. They have never been hacked or jail broken.

Try a reset on them. Worst you'll lose is your Home Sharing/Netflix login information. If that doesn't work, try a DFU restore in iTunes.

My ATV2 has been randomly rebooting itself too, but for a longer period of time. I notice it most when using MLB.TV. I've just begun researching the problem. If anybody knows anything, I'd be most grateful.
