normally the only ones that have it early are reviewers. it would be a big mistake if someone get it early from fedex etc as the product has a street date. not to mention Apple prob has it in the contract if that happens the delivery co has to pay a fine etc.
Yup, this would be pretty rare. I’ve seen it happen in the past before to very few people - but the shipping companies are not supposed to do that. They have an agreement with Apple that they will not deliver phones till Friday, even if they have the phones already at their shipping hubs in the US.
Yes, if you order an iPhone XS, XS Max, Xr, 8 or 8 Plus and order tomorrow for overnight shipping. 
There have been people over the years who have claimed to get them one day early. It RARELY happens.
If you know the right people who are willing to break protocol you can get it early. My buddy got his a day early last year and posted on the forums about it (and in true forum fashion was called a fake and troll by the non-believers). Anyway, his friend worked at the carrier store his phone was delivered to and gave it to him early.
It’s only happened to me once and it was the iPhone 4 or 4s, I dont remember which one. Anyhow it was delivered the day before launch. Pretty sure that was a biiiiiig mistake.
