I upgraded to iOS 26.3.

When trying to attach an image in Messages, I tap the + icon, but I don't see anyway to access the Files folder.

No 'browse' button or anything that will allow me to select a different location on my iPhone.

What am I missing? Was this always the case? Seems like something one should be able to do, no?

You can share any file type to Messages through Files. Tap and hold on the file > Share > Messages.

It is a bit odd that Files is not an action through Messages.

Thanks. Didn’t iOS able to do this at one point through Messages or am I just imagining thing?
